Scottish Country Dance Group

Meets: Tuesdays at 7:30 PM
Location: Naseby Halls, Randolph Road

The Scottish Country Dance Group offers a lively and welcoming way to enjoy music, movement, and Scotland’s rich dancing tradition. Meeting every Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM, the group is open to all abilities, from complete beginners to more experienced dancers. Whether you’re learning your first steps or brushing up on familiar dances, you’ll find a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Scottish Country Dancing is a highly social activity and a great way to stay active. Regular dancing helps improve fitness, balance, coordination, and memory, all while having fun to the sound of traditional Scottish music. Each session is relaxed and enjoyable, with plenty of encouragement along the way — and there’s no need to bring a partner, just comfortable shoes and a willingness to join in.

New members are welcome at any time, and there’s no pressure to have danced before. If you’re looking for an enjoyable evening activity, a chance to meet new people, or a way to connect with Scottish culture in a lively setting, the Scottish Country Dance Group is a wonderful place to start.
